How do I prepare for retirement?
It is never too late to plan for retirement. However, it is better for the individual to start a retirement program when he/she is young. A number of issues that need to be considered are age, objectives, and what type of vehicle to use to accomplish your goal. A real issue is the type of risk you want to assume.
A happy and fulfilling retirement means different things to different people. Decisions that are made determine a change that affects one’s peace of mind.
There has to be an analysis of your assets as well as your liabilities. One crucial thing is a determination of when you want to collect Social Security. Of course, later is better. Finally, you need to take stock of your protection.
